High Country Estates, Kamloops: Perched high on a rocky ridge this house overlooks grassland and pine forest and far below to the intersecting north and south Thompson valleys. The low hip roofs and deep eave projections helpdevelop the horizontal "prairie" style. A detached timber gate and pathway preempt the wood-planked door.
